ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has asked the relevant authorities to ensure best arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.
A meeting to review Hajj arrangements was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Wednesday.
Religious Affairs Secretary Abrar Ahmed Mirza, Additional Secretary Dr Sajid Mahmood Chohan, DG Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro and other senior officers participated via Zoom, and the final review of the arrangements for the first flight of the Road to Makkah project from Lahore was conducted.
Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that before the arrival of Hajj pilgrims, hospitals and dispensaries should be established in Makkah and Madinah, and the best hospitality for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims should be ensured.
He said that effective communication should be maintained with all stakeholders to ensure the best arrangements. He expressed satisfaction with the provision of training, vaccination, distribution of gifts and other ongoing services in the ministry's Hajj camps.
The minister said that this year, special attention has been paid to the training of pilgrims' helpers. Pilgrims should follow the instructions of the pilgrims' helpers in every way so that discipline can be ensured.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said Hajj pilgrims should fully follow Saudi laws and bring good name to the country. He is grateful to the Saudi Minister of Hajj and the Saudi Ambassador for their full cooperation.
