Sharjeel Memon tenders resignation to President

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has submitted his resignation to President Asif Zardari.

According to sources Memon who had been summoned by party Co Chairman President Asif Ali Zardari late Friday night in the Presidency has tendered his resignation and also regretted on the embarrassment caused to the party because of his recent visit to London with former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza.Sources said that Memon has tendered his resignation from the provincial cabinet which the President said would be accepted only by the provincial Chief Minister.It is pertinent to mention that MQM showed their reservation and criticized Sarjeel Memon for visiting to London with Zulfiqar Mirza.
