Rescue teams have shifted the dead and injured to hospital
BASIRPUR/MURIDKE (Dunya News) – One person was killed and four others suffered injuries in two accidents in Basirpur and Muridke on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The first accident occurred on Mandi Ahmadabad Road in Basirpur where a speeding motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer coming from the opposite direction, killing the bike rider on the spot.
Rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead body to hospital. Rescue sources said the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
The second accident took place on Grand Trunk (GT) Road near Muridke where two racing buses hit motorcycles, injuring at least four people.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. According to rescue sources, the drivers of buses managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
