MNAs have condemned the withdrawal of security from the residence of National Assembly Speaker.

The sudden withdrawal of security from the residence of National Assembly Speaker, Dr. Fehmida Mirza dominated the National Assembly’s proceedings on its opening session on Tuesday.Aftab Shaba’an Mirani said life of Fehmida Mirza is in danger due to statements of her husband Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Mirza. Members of the assembly called for provision of better security at the Speaker’s residence.PML-N’s Sheikh Rohail Saghar termed as a “shameful act” the removal of security from the house of NA Speaker.JUI’s Asia Nasir demanded that Dr. Fehmida should be given security.In addition, murder of three Hindu doctors in Shikarpur was also raised in the lower house. The house observed one-minute silence against the incident.Speaking at point of order, Monhar Lal of MQM said the case of slain doctors should be heard in anti-terror court.
