Hina terms Pak-India talks successful

Hina said Pakistan and India are successful in reducing the trust deficit and building the trust.

Addressing a news conference, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said this would take the two countries to result oriented dialogue on all issues including Jammu and Kashmir. Referring to meeting between Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh in Maldives on the sidelines of the SAARC Summit, she said it was very constructive and positive.All issues including terrorism and Jammu and Kashmir came under discussion during the meeting, she said. She said both the leaders had thirty-minute one on one meeting. She said the Indian Prime Minister also said, “we want to move forward.”The foreign minister said Pakistan is pursuing good neighbourly relations with India.She described the agreement of SAARC countries to meet any natural calamity with unity, as a landmark agreement. Khar said China is taking keen interest in SAARC which is a welcome step.
