At least three people were killed and 12 injured as an avalanche hit Gojal village in Gilgit.

According to details, 15 shepherds of Chapoorson locality of Gojal village near Gilgit went near Afghan border to collect their cattle when the avalanche hit and buried the shepherds under heavy snow.Three people were killed and 12 injured in the accident. The dead were identified as Tahat, Qurban and Saeed Ahmad. The residents of the area are busy in rescue operation is underway, however, no one has been rescued so for.
