ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A crucial meeting of senior leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was convened on Saturday amidst party's nationwide demonstrations protesting electoral rigging.

During the meeting, demands were made for the immediate removal of the chief secretaries of Sindh and Punjab due to their involvement in facilitating electoral fraud and manipulation of the public mandate.

The PTI leaders also called for the immediate dismissal of the Punjab Police chief and the Sindh Police chief from their duties.

The PTI leadership stated that the chief secretaries and IGs of Sindh and Punjab had tarnished democracy and played a criminal role in promoting lawlessness in their provinces.

The PTI demanded the immediate dismissal of these four officials and urged for their strict accountability.
