KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) president for Sindh, Haleem Adil Sheikh, was released from the Central Jail on Thursday, Dunya News has reported.

Sheikh, who had spent a total of 171 days in jail, was greeted by PTI workers upon his release, who were gathered outside the Central Jail.

A spokesperson for PTI's Sindh chapter stated that there were a total of 40 cases registered against Haleem Adil Sheikh, and he has been granted bail in all of them.

Sheikh was accused of various charges, including land grabbing, inciting violence on May 9 and attacking police.

It is important to note here that Sheikh participated in the 2024 elections from the NA-238 constituency.
