ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Continuing its ongoing proceedings against Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, a former judge of the apex court, the Supreme Judicial Council recorded the statements of seven witnesses on Thursday.

During the proceedings, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa remarked that the Supreme Judicial Council would not reach any decision until the Supreme Court's decisions were made. He also stated that upon Mazhar Naqvi's request, the SJC proceedings were open to the public.

The SJC is scheduled to record the statements of four more witnesses on Friday.
