Rain again lashes Lahore, other cities of Punjab

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, more rain is expected during the next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rain accompanied by cold winds lashed Lahore on second consecutive day and several other cities of Punjab in the wee hours of Thursday, Dunya News reported.
The downpour in different areas inundated roads and streets in the provincial capital of Lahore and residence faced immense difficulties as rainwater entered houses in low lying areas.
Dozens of LESCO feeders tripped due to heavy rain and strong wind in the city, resulting in power outage in various areas.
Light to heavy rain was also reported from Faisalabad, Gujrat, Muridke, Sangla Hill, Toba Tek Singh, Dinga, Khushab, Joharabad, Kharian and their adjoining areas.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over mountain) is expected in Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region and upper Punjab during the next 24 hours.
