ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Islamabad High Court on Saturday set a February 13 deadline for the federal government to locate the missing Baloch students.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, in a written directive, ordered a final report on the missing persons by the next hearing, extending the recovery deadline.

The court stressed that if the students are not found by February 13, an affidavit will be demanded. He also gave a warning of legal consequences if the recovery did not occur, based on the law.

The Attorney General presented a list of disappeared Baloch students and said that cases of 12 missing students were yet to be resolved. The federation's assurance to prevent future disappearances was also given in the court.

The Sami Deen Baloch case, involving his missing father for a decade, was referred to the Attorney General for exploration.
