SC calls precise petition on assets abroad

Supreme ordered to resubmit a detailed application regarding foreign assets within 15 days.

The court has also directed the petitioner to include details in the application as to who exactly should be called to recover assets.A two-member bench led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of the petition moved by Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani regarding taking back money fraudulently deposited in foreign banks.While hearing arguments of the petitioner, the Chief Justice remarked that allegation on any person or institution is not clear in the petition, adding that the court should be briefed in detail as to who committed corruption and who should be called to the court in this regard.The court has ordered to resubmit the petition after pinpointing further details and persons within 15 days.
