QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan caretaker Information Minister Jan Achakzai on Monday issued a warning that those attempting to confront the state will be made an example of.

Achakzai’s warning comes a day after the killing of BLA commander Saddam Hussain in Turbat.

During a press conference here, the minister declared that a terrorist had met his end, and he warned other terrorists that they would face similar consequences if they didn't choose the right path.

Achakzai commended the security forces for their pivotal role in maintaining law and order, and added that the caretaker government enjoyed full support from the army chief in the fight against terror and other crimes.

He said that those involved in smuggling had been identified, adding that the state had adopted a zero-tolerance policy against smugglers.

The minister affirmed that Pakistan would continue to support the Palestinians, emphasising that the two-state solution was the only viable resolution to the Palestine issue.

Achakzai mentioned that it was discussed in the cabinet meeting that, in line with the vision of the army chief, relief was being provided to the people.

He also disclosed that a commission on the Right to Information had been approved for establishment.

Achakzai announced that a crackdown on non-custom paid vehicles would commence shortly.

The minister acknowledged the BNP's independent stance, highlighting that their political statements were within their rights.

Achakzai disclosed that the Cabinet had allocated Rs780 million for the Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco).
