AML chief says that economic stability will be achieved once there is political stability
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid said on Tuesday there was a huge question mark over the transparency of elections even before their announcement.
In his statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the veteran politician said economic stability would be achieved once there is political stability in the country.
“It is a huge question mark who will rebuild the economy,” Rashid said.
He added that people represented the state and country would prosper when the general public would be satisfied economically.

According to the AML chief, the problems aren’t solved by arresting the political opponents.
The seasoned politician was of the view that everyone would have to sit together to resolve the economic crisis being faced by the country.
"The resentment is increasing and people are already fed up with the current system. We’ll have to take our people on board in order to achieve economic stability,” he concluded.
