Driver fell asleep and lost the control
RAJANPUR (Dunya News) - As many as five people were killed and 21 were injured as a passenger bus overturned in the Fazilpur area of Rajanpur district on Sunday morning.
According to the details, the tragic incident happened due to overspeeding when the driver lost control after falling asleep.
The rescue officials said that the call of accident was received by the control room at 6.05 am in the morning. The bus was carrying the devotees from the shrine of Sakhi Sarwar and heading towards Jacobabad Sindh.

ریسکیو راجن پور کنٹرول روم کو کال موصول ہوئی کہ انڈس روڈ فاضلپور کے قریب سخی سرور سے آنے والے زائرین کی بس الٹ گئ، ریسکیو 1122 نے "21" افراد کو ریسکیو کرکے ہاسپٹل منتقل کردیا، اس افسوس ناک واقعہ میں 5 افراد موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہوگے، ریسکیوآپریشن جاری ہے
The rescue officials added that five passengers died on the spot while 21 injured were shifted to the hospital.
People with severe injuries were shifted to Rajanpur district hospital while passengers with minor injuries were shifted to a local hospital in Fazilpur.
Deceased passengers of the ill-fated bus also included a woman and two children.
