Eight die as tourist van and car collide and fell into ravine
BALAKOT (Dunya News) - An unfortunate incident took place at Gatti Das where a tourist car and a van collided and then fell into a deep ravine, resulting in the loss of eight lives and several injuries.
Women and children were among the injured.
Police said 14 tourists were in the van and four in the car. On receiving information about the accident, police and rescue teams immediately reached the scene and started operations.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Owing to critical condition of the injured, rescuers fear more fatalities.
