Tessori calls for foolproof security arrangements
KARACHI Dunya News) – The director general of Sindh Rangers and Inspector General of Police (IGP) on Friday briefed Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori about the security arrangements for the processions on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashur.
Tessori held a telephonic conversation with the DG Rangers and Sindh IG. He emphasised ensuring foolproof security arrangements.
Separately, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government had made foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Ashura.
Speaking to media, Murad said: "Today I have come to review the security arrangements for the processions. By the grace of the Higher Power, no incidents of terrorism were reported in the province".
Murad said, "The terrorist activities have been brought under control with the use of modern technology."
