Death toll from dengue in Lahore has reached 177 while 200 new cases were reported in the city.

Former deputy speaker Punjab Assembly was under treatment at the Sheikh Zayad Hospital where he lost fight against dengue on Sunday.His dead body was shifted to his native town, Faisalabad. His funeral prayer will be offered today at Ghulamabad locality in Faisalabad.According to health department, 200 new cases of dengue have been reported Punjab in the past 24 hours out of which 186 were from Lahore.The number of patients affected from dengue virus in Punjab has reached 15,235 out of which 13,147 are from Lahore.The number of deaths from dengue in Punjab has climbed to 196 out of 177 were reported in Punjab.
