He says no institution can dictate parliament
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Defence Minster Khawaja Asif said on Tuesday any action against audio leaks commission and act would be shameful.
Mr Asif, while speaking in the National Assembly, said the cabinet had formed a commission to investigate the alleged audio leaks keeping in mind the principles of justice.
He said any device could be hacked by using the modern technology. He said the chief justice should dissociate himself from the bench.
The PML-N stalwart highlighted that they did not want conflict with the judiciary, adding the CJ said parliament could not dictate the judiciary but in fact, no institution could dictate parliament because it formed the constitution on the basis of which the whole country worked.
