President Alvi, Imran Khan discuss future strategy

Alvi apprised the PTI chief about the violent clashes which erupted in the country after his arrest.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi held a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former prime minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on late Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
The meeting which lasted for three hours was held at the Police Lines Guest House in the federal capital. The President apprised the PTI chief about the violent clashes which erupted in the country after his arrest. President also informed Imran Khan about the arrest of senior PTI leaders.
According to sources, Imran Khan expressed concern over the events taking place in the country. He also expressed concern over the arrest of senior leadership of the PTI.
The two leaders also discussed the future strategy of the PTI during the meeting. Senator Shibli Faraz, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan and lawyers of Imran Khan present during the meeting.
