ECP extends Punjab election symbol allotment deadline to April 26
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced on Thursday that it has modified the election schedule in Punjab, due to the upcoming Eid holidays.
The new schedule indicates that April 26th was the last date for issuing election symbols to the candidates.
The decision was made to allow the candidates and their supporters to celebrate Eid and spend time with their families.
Previously, the deadline for allotting election symbols to the candidates by the Election Commission was 12 o'clock tonight.
The ECP has assured that it would maintain transparency and fairness throughout the election process.
