Four killed in road accidents in Wazirabad, Bahawalpur

Police and rescue teams have shifted the dead and injured to hospitals.
WAZIRABAD/BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – At least four persons were killed and two other were wounded in two separate road accidents in Wazirabad and Bahawalpur on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the first accident occurred in Wazirabad where a man and his wife were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a speeding truck.
The accident took place at the Grand Trunk (GT) Road in Gakhar Mandi near Wazirabad where a rashly driven truck hit a motorcycle, killing a man identified as Malik Zulfiqar and his wife Musarrat Bibi on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to a nearby hospital. Police have also arrested the truck driver who was trying to flee from the scene after the accident.
The second accident occurred in Bahawalpur where two persons were killed and two other were wounded when a tractor trolley collided with a motorcycle and overturned in Kadwala area of Tehsil Yazman.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
