ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Shazia Marri expressed her displeasure after being stopped by security personnel ahead of an emergency meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the Parliament House on Tuesday.
Reportedly, all officers were asked to leave the meeting room and the mobile phones of the federal cabinet members were kept outside before the meeting.
However, before the meeting could commence, Ms. Marri was stopped by the security personnel and asked to submit her handbag and other belongings.
In response, the federal minister reportedly went back and exclaimed, "Mark me absent."
