Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman termed DCs' access to data rigging
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Jamat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said that by giving the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) access to the census data, a way is paved for rigging.
While raising objections on the census, Hafiz Naeem said that the Election Commission of Pakistan has become the B-team of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He said that all the promises made regarding transparency in elections had proved futile. He said that the staff was also facing problems in using the tablet.
Mr Rehman said that MQM considered census its redline on one hand but it duly stuck to the ministries. Talking about the mayor of Karachi he said that his party would not allow dominating using fake mandates. He stressed that the PPP should honor Jamat’s mandate.
