Three injured as car swallowed up by sinkhole in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three persons sustained injuries when a car fell into a sinkhole in the Johar Town area of Lahore on late Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the car with three people inside fell into the 25-foot sinkhole that appeared at the Main Boulevard near Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and retrieved the three persons from sinkhole in injured condition after a hectic effort on one hour. Rescue sources said that heavy machinery will be used to pull the car out of sinkhole.
