The resolution to bring Punchaeti system under legal frame work was passed in Punjab Assembly.

Both PML-N and PPP remained embroiled in their mutual issues during the PA session. Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said after the 18th Amendment, the governor was left with no powers. He said the large Governor’s House should be taken back from the governor to be used for public good. The opposition leader said the Punjab government has already taken over Murree Governor’s House. If Shahbaz Sharif is ready to vacate 90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-Azam, 7 and 8 Club Road, PPP will also vacate the Governor’s House, Raja Riaz Added.
