Ahsan calls for political unity to foster economic growth
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasised on Tuesday the importance of putting aside political differences in bid to advance the country's economy.
Speaking at a round table conference organised by the Ministry of Planning, Mr Iqbal stated unequivocally the only way out of the current economic crisis was to increase the country's exports.
Talking about the recent flash floods in the country, Mr Iqbal said the floods had consequences for the country.
He recounted the significance of political stability for stabilising the economy.
