Fire in jungle near Head Balloki brought under control

PDMA sources informed that jungle on two acres of land was destroyed by the fire.
(Dunya News) – Fire broke out in jungle near Head Balloki, around 65 km from Lahore, on Wednesday night which spread and engulfed a portion of jungle very quickly, Dunya News reported.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and other departments’ personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort.
According to PDMA sources, the fire erupted when some unidentified person threw a cigarette butt. Sources also informed that jungle on two acres of land was destroyed by the fire.
