Three miners killed as coal mine collapses near Thatta

THATTA (Dunya News) - At least three miners were killed when a portion of a coal mine collapsed at Meting Railway Station near Jhimpir village in District Thatta in Sindh province on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, labourers were working deep inside the mine when a big portion of the coal mine caved in, burying at least four labourers under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved three dead bodies from the mine while one miner was pull alive from the coal mine.
According to Deputy Commissioner Thatta Ghazanfar Ali, the deceased were identified as Syed Qayum, Fazal Gul abd Rehman who were residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
