860 missing persons reported in 2022: Report
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The outgoing year saw reports of 860 missing persons, with the highest number in October, in the country.
The Missing Persons Commission in its annual report outlined that out of the 860 cases, 128 were reported in October. On the other hand, 1,109 cases were fixed. However, the recovery of missing persons was not part of the report.
The report further noted that 977 persons, mostly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were enclosed in internment centres.
In all, the commission has reported 9,133 cases.
