Five dead, as many injured in three road accidents

OKARA/ FAISALABAD/ VEHARI (Dunya News) - Five people were killed and as many injured in three road accidents in parts of Punjab on Wednesday. 

Two persons were killed and three others suffered injuries after a mini-truck collided with a trailer truck on the National Highway in Okara. The dead and the injured were shifted to the DHQ hospital by Rescue 1122 ambulances. 

In another incident, a vehicle carrying containers hit a motorcycle on Jaranwala-Nankana Road in Faisalabad district, leaving two siblings injured. They were later pronounced dead by paramedics. The incident took place due to fog. Police shifted the dead bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. 

A passenger was killed and two others including a woman suffered multiple injuries in a collision between a passenger bus and oil tanker near Adda Thangi, Multan Road in Vehari. The dead body and the injured were transported to the DHQ hospital.
