Glitch disrupts operation at utility stores across Pakistan

The server went down and flour entries at the stores were not possible.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Servers of the Utility Stores Corporation across the country went down due to technical issues on Monday.
Owing to the server being down, the operation of the stores had been suspended due to which the citizens were facing difficulties.
According to USC officials, the server went down and flour entries at the stores were not possible due to the division of the subsidy into two parts. Officials said it s not possible to supply the items due to the system being down and the public had queued up outside the stores.
A 10kg bag of flour was available at the utility stores at Rs684 whereas cheap flour was only available to the Benazir Income Support Programme card holders at Rs400.
