Farooq Sattar assures governor Sindh Kamran Tessori of uniting MQM
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday assured Governor Sindh Kamran Tessrori of uniting MQM in a meeting here at his residence.
Sources said that the governor informed Mr Sattar of his earlier meeting with Chairman Pak Sar-zameen Party (PSP) Syed Mustafa Kamal.
Speaking to media, the governor said there was no one out there who could help the residents of Karachi adding we had to take care of ourselves as everyone knew the cost of not staying united. “Street crimes are on the rise in Karachi”, he added.
He said people of the province were not getting enough supplies of electricity and gas as the province was in the grips of mafias.
Karachi, he said, despite adding its share into country’s economy was dying. “The city residents crave for water even though Karachi lies on the bank of the sea”, he added. The city dwellers were being treated as criminals, he claimed.

Urging citizens to stand for their rights, he said the standard of living had gone down adding it was up to the citizens whether they want alms or their rights.
