PML-N’s bigwig shakes hand with PTI

TAXILA ( Dunya News ) – The divisional vice president of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) from Taxila, Sardar Mumtaz Khan, joined the ranks of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The former ticket-holder of PML-N arranged a ceremony at his house for officially announcing his inclusion in the PTI. Senior PTI leader Ghulam Sarwar was also present. Mr Sarwar said the politics of PML-N represented neither the people nor the country. He said PTI’s efforts were for saving the sovereignty of Pakistan and the politics of Imran Khan was for the nation and betterment of posterity.

The former minister added that all political parties had reduced themselves to regional level groups and the PTI was the only party that had its presence across the country.

Sardar Mumtaz Khan contested the 2018 election from the PML-N’S ticket against Chaudhry Nisar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan.
