Kasur: Ganda Singh in danger of high flood

A medium level flood is also expected in Indus River near Attock.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department said that a heavy flood torrent may sweep away Ganda Singh area of Kasur district due to heavy rain in Sutlej and Beas rivers at the Indian side.A new monsoon system in India may bring heavy rains with thunder in various districts of interior Sindh and Punjab.Muhammad Riaz, the chief meteorologist at the Lahore Flood Warning Centre, says that flood deluge is looming over Ganda Singh and Head Sulemanki.He said that rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could flood the area between Attock and Sindh.The experts say that current rains are really harmful for cotton crops in southern Punjab and Sindh.
