Notorious terrorist commander killed during IBO in North Waziristan
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Secuirty forces killed a notorious terrorist commander during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Shewa area of North Waziristan, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), fire exchange took place between terrorists and army troops, and during an intense exchange of fire, Muhammad Noor alias Sarakai, a notorious terrorist commander, was killed.
While weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist, it added.
The killed terrorist remained actively involved in high profile terrorist activities against security forces as well as kidnapping for ransom, and was highly wanted by CTD in multiple cases, the statement added.
Locals of the area appreciated the operations and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
