Punjab cabinet approves resolution against assassination attempt on Imran Khan
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab cabinet on Friday approved the resolution against the assassination attempt on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan.
The resolution stated, “The former prime minister has a one-third majority, considering his popularity as a political leader in the four provinces of the country. The attack on Imran Khan is an act of sabotaging the national integrity and law and order situation of the country. The objective of this attack appears to spread anarchy and instability in the country.”
Meanwhile, the Punjab cabinet widely condemned the assassination attempt on PTI chief Imran Khan in Wazirabad, which left him and his companions wounded.
