PPP, police engage in rigging, claims Imran Ismail
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former Sindh governor Imran Ismail on Sunday claimed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and police are involved in rigging in NA-237.
Commenting on the by-elections, Imran Ismail lambasted the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), saying that the ECP has limited itself to statements, adding that the ECP has once again failed.
Continuing to take a dig at the ECP, former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said, “ECP seems to be failing in terms of holding elections as the happening of transparent elections in the presence of the current ECP CEC is just a dream. However, despite using all tactics we [PTI] are winning.”
