Dozens of villages inundated as 70,000 cusecs of water is passing through river near Manchanabad.

Standing crops on thousands of acres of land was also destroyed as floodwater entered Manchanabad and its adjacent villages.River was in high flood at Head Sulemanki after India spilled water into Sutlej River. A stream of 70,000 cusecs of water has entered Manchanabad after passing through Head Sulemanki.According to Assistant Commissioner, flood relief centers have been set up in Lala Amar Singh, Usmanpur Ratika, Pir Khalis and other areas and asked relief workers to remain alert to meet any untoward situation.
