Nazim Jokhio's family reaches settlement with accused

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The family of deceased Nazim Jokhio have reached a compromise with accused in the high-profile murder case.
According to details, a court was to take up the matter and indict the suspects on Saturday but family members informed the court about out-of-court settlement.
“We have reached to a compromise with the accused and have no objection to dismiss the case,” hears of the slain youth told the court.
The court adjourned the hearing till October 15.
It merits mention that six people including MPA Jam Awais, who belongs to province’s ruling Pakistan Peoples Party, have been under custody over the murder.
