Floods kill three more persons in Balochistan; death toll rises to 304

Floods in Balochistan completely destroyed 20,027 houses while 52,208 houses were partially damaged.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The death toll from the recent monsoon rains and floods in different parts of Balochistan has climbed to 304 as three more persons died on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
As per Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), death toll from recent monsoon rains and floods in different parts of Balochistan has risen to 304, including 138 men, 74 women and 92 children.
The PDMA reported that the heavy rains caused loss of at least 305,155 livestock. The PDMA reported that 20,027 houses were completely destroyed while 52,208 houses were partially damaged by the rains and floods in the province.
The PDMA reported that 2,198 km length of roads and 24 bridges were damaged due to the floods while standing crops over 200,936 acres of land were also destroyed. The PDMA is conducting relief operations in the affected districts.
