MQM leader Babar Ghauri presented before ATC
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senior leader Babar Ghauri on Tuesday was presented before the anti-terrorism court in Karachi.
The MQM senior leader was arrested by the security agencies upon his return to Pakistan on Monday. He was taken into custody over his alleged involvement in a corruption and terrorism case.
Meanwhile, the court has approved seven-day physical remand of the arrested MQM leader.
Talking about the case, Babar Ghauri said that he had secured bail before his return and was not aware of this case. He didn’t receive any notice, he added.
