PTI core committee decides not to return to National Assembly

PTI chief Imran Khan and Asad Umar opposed the return of PTI to the National Assembly.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee, which met under the chairmanship of PTI chief Imran Khan in Peshawar on Monday, has decided not to return to National Assembly, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, there was a division between the PTI core committee members on the issue of whether or not to return to the National Assembly.
Aamir Dogar and Ali Mohammad Khan suggested to returning to the National Assembly while Ali Mohammad Khan also suggested that PTI should remain part of the standing committees of the National Assembly.
However, PTI chief Imran Khan and former planning minister Asad Umar opposed the return of PTI to the National Assembly. Imran Khan was of the view that thousands of people did not come out to participate in the PTI long march so that I could go to the National Assembly and sit with the thieves.
Sources further said that the core committee also decided not to leave election field empty for their political opponents and decided to participate in the by-election al all cost.
