ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Coalition government has decided against early elections and reached a decision to complete its term.
The government has also hinted at taking tough decisions with help of its allies as coalition partners have decided to stick together in these testing times.
The leadership of allies was also of the view that government has to take some decisions for development of Pakistan.
The government members also reiterated that protests and sit-ins by former prime minister Imran Khan are not a threat.
On Sunday, Imran Khan announced an Azadi March to Islamabad on May 25 to seek an election date and dissolution of the National Assembly.
Keep Zardari in loop in every decision, Nawaz tells party leaders
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PMLN) supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that allies should be taken into full confidence on the PTI’s long march and in every decision Asif Ali Zardari should be kept in loop, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Sources privy to the development said an important consultative meeting of PML-N was held in which the political situation in the country, PTI’s long march and early elections were discussed. Nawaz Sharif also attended the consultative meeting via video link from London, sources said.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif advised that if the government does not get IMF public relief package then big decisions should be taken, sources added.
Taking a dig at Imran Khan, Nawaz said the noise of the long march was made to affect the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund(IMF).
