CCTV footage of the Karachi blast in Saddar Town has surfaced which showed a powerful explosion on Dr Daud Pota road near a bakery on Thursday. A suspicious man can be seen in the footage.
In the CCTV footage, a suspicious man can be seen who can allegedly be involved in the blast incident.
According to details, one person died and 9 were badly injured in the incident.
Several vehicles including bikes and six cars were completely destroyed in the incident.
As per the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), the explosion was carried out by a remote-controlled device. Explosive material of 2 kilograms was planted at a motorcycle which was parked on the busy road.
The explosion was so powerful that the windowpanes of nearby buildings were shattered due to the impact of the blast, while the explosion also damaged the vehicles.
DIG South has said that the blast is an attempt to disrupt law and order.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the explosion and sought a report. He also declared emergency in hospital across the city. The Sindh CM has directed to investigate the incident from every aspect.
