Education is right of every child in country: Pervaiz Elahi
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Speaker Punjab Assembly (PA) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Monday said that the access to education is right of every child in the country.
A meeting under the chairmanship of former provincial minister Imran Masood was held. Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi along with the members of Pakistan Education Council (PEC) attending the meeting. Addressing the meeting Pervaiz Elahi said that the private institutes are coordinating with the government for the promotion of education.
During the meeting, the solution of obstacles in provision of quality education amid surge of COVID-19 and lack of government’s attention were discussed.
The matters pertaining to the mode of helping the educational institutions improve the quality of education was also discussed.
Speaker Punjab Assembly added that the problems of Pakistan Education Council (PEC) will be solved on priority basis.
