LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 8,183 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, the highest number of cases in a single day since the coronavirus pandemic started in 2020, Dunya News reported.
Pakistan has reported 30 more deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,402,070. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 29,192.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 8,183 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 68,624 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 8,183 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 11.92 percent.
