Pakistan has reported 23 more deaths and 7,678 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan reported 7,678 new COVID-19 cases in a single day on Friday since the coronavirus pandemic started in 2020, Dunya News reported.

Pakistan has reported 23 more deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,353,479. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 29,065.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 7,678 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Pakistan has conducted 59,343 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 7,678 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 12.93 percent.
