8 workers of govt TV stranded in Abbottabad due to snow

ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – Eight employees of a government television channel have been stranded in Thandiani from past four days due to heavy snowfall.
As per reports, the employees, who had been appointed at booster station are running out of food.
The employees, in their desperate plea for help, have said that due to power breakdown they will die to cold and so far the government has not made any contact with them.
On the other hand, land routes to most of the areas of Galliyat have been closed due to land sliding. Tourists are also trapped due to slow action of the government; however, religious organizations and locals have stepped forward to rescue and provide food to the stranded tourists.
