PM Imran Khan bars foreign envoys from meeting ministers without prior permission
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has banned foreign ambassadors from meeting the ministers without prior permission.
A meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The seven-point agenda including economic and political situation of the country was considered in the meeting.
According to sources, the prime minister directed that no ambassador would meet any minister without giving prior notice to the foreign ministry.
Sources further said that the ambassadors will be able to meet the ministers after the clearance from the foreign ministry, while a representative of the foreign ministry would also be present in all such meetings.
According to sources, Imran Khan said that the ministries should present the performance report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the public.
